13 Miles Northwest of Georgetown Lake, off of MT Scenic Hwy 1 and centered in the heart of the Flint Creek Valley, is the quaint former mining town of Philipsburg, or P-burg as it is known to the locals. There are many wonderful shops including several galleries featuring jewelry made from local Sapphires, a variety of restaurants and a famous candy store.
